Jan and Hannes total 25 Masters

During the 2004-2005 season, Jan Jasiewicz completed his 13th WL Master, Hannes Larsson his 12th . The most assiduous WL skiers are both born in 1931. Jan was born in Poland where he studied engineering. Later he moved to Switzerland. Hannes was born in Finland where he studied engineering. Later he moved to France.

Jan and Hannes founded IAWLS in the year 2000 together with Lech Milewski (AUS). Jan retired from the IAWLS Committee at the end of 2004 due to other commitments. His main activity, apart from XC skiing, is traveling; until now he has visited some 140 countries. After a career consisting of intellectual work, Hannes has shifted to manual activities, forestry and woodworking. He likes listening to classical music.
