Transjurassienne
Once again a race was cancelled but for those that showed up on race day there was good skiing conditions after all. The weekend before the race the track was mostly covered with 0-5cm of snow, scattered. But Risoux and Massacre had 15cm that weekend and on race day it had grown to 20cm. It could easily gone down to 5cm because weather forecast said both rain and snow and nobody could forecast if race day would have enough snow. Friday before classic race day was sunny and had very well groomed tracks in Massacre sector between Lamoura and Les Rousses. Picture shown is IAWLS Executive Committee Member Lars skiing on the Friday and on the actual Transju track between Lamoura and Premanon. No race but good skiing that weekend.
